Discovering Grits

A long time ago in a high school cafeteria far far away I met a boy over french fries.

He asked me out over the summer thirteen years ago with an Icee in his hand

He taught me to eat new foods, what a SuperSport was and convinced me NY was not the way to go

We made it through college, nearly unscatthed.

 We moved to the other coast where he asked me to be his wife, just the same way he asked me to be his girlfriend many years before

We married six years ago today, surrounded by our family and friends

We introduced the other love of our life 3 years ago
